Due to continued project activity, we are recruiting an Electrical Project Engineer to support the delivery of HV-focused electrical projects.
This is a hands-on project engineering position suited to someone who is comfortable working across engineering, procurement, construction support, commissioning, quality and project closeout, rather than operating purely within design.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of HV/LV electrical infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate and support testing and commissioning activities through project delivery and handover.
- Prepare, review and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), ITRs and associated QA/QC documentation.
- Assist with electrical equipment and material procurement, vendor coordination and delivery tracking.
- Manage technical and project documentation, registers, inspection records and closeout documentation.
- Electrical Engineering qualification or relevant technical background.
- Previous experience as an Electrical Project Engineer, Electrical Site Engineer, Commissioning Engineer or similar.
- Strong exposure to HV electrical infrastructure, ideally including substations, switchgear, transformers, BESS or critical power systems.
- Demonstrated testing and commissioning experience.
- Experience preparing or managing ITPs, ITRs, QA/QC records and project documentation.
- Australian Citizenship is essential for this position.
This is an opportunity to join a technically focused electrical project team delivering complex HV and power infrastructure projects.
The initial engagement is a 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension as the project pipeline develops.
