The Role You’ll be responsible for the maintenance and reliability of power generation equipment, including:
- Routine and breakdown maintenance
- Engine servicing, repairs and rebuilds
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Troubleshooting power generation systems
- Control system testing
- General mechanical and electrical maintenance
- Parts management and maintenance reporting
- Responding to breakdowns when required
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
- Mechanical / Heavy Diesel Fitting trade qualification
- 2+ years post-trade experience
- Proven power generation experience – essential
- Strong diesel engine diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with stationary engines/generators
- Remote or FIFO experience highly regarded
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- National Police Clearance
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
- Gas engine/gas system experience
- CAT, Cummins, Jenbacher, Wartsila or similar
- Engine rebuild experience
- Working at Heights / Confined Space
- Forklift or other relevant tickets
- 2/2 roster – days only
- FIFO from Perth
