Dewatering Supervisor | Major Project
The Opportunity
Techforce is seeking an experienced Dewatering Supervisor
to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who can oversee site-based dewatering operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate dewatering operations across multiple sites
- Lead and mentor dewatering crews, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Manage installation, operation, and maintenance of dewatering systems (wellpoints, sump pumping, spear systems, etc.)
- Monitor water quality, flow rates, and pumping performance
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to achieve project targets
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and downtime is minimised
- Keep accurate records of site activities and reporting
- Proven experience in dewatering supervision within civil, mining, or construction projects
- Strong knowledge of dewatering systems and groundwater management
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and work under pressure
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
- Valid driver’s licence and relevant tickets (HR, confined space, etc. highly regarded)
- Competitive Hourly Rate: An attractive casual rate of $70-$75 per hour, negotiable based on your experience.
- Consistent Roster: A 2 weeks on, 1 week off FIFO roster.
