The Opportunity:

Techforce Personnel  are seeking an experienced S26 Dewatering & Site Services Coordinator  for the planning, coordination, optimisation, and execution of all surface and pit dewatering activities across the operation. This role will ensure sufficient dewatering capacity is available to support safe and efficient mining while maintaining compliance with environmental, statutory, and operational requirements.  FIFO 8&6 roster  from  Perth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate all dewatering activities to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted support to mining operations.
  • Develop and implement dewatering strategies and plans aligned with short, medium, and long-term mine schedules.
  • Manage dewatering infrastructure and assets, including pumps, bore fields, pipelines, sumps, and associated equipment, to maximise reliability and performance.
  • Coordinate maintenance programs to optimise equipment availability, minimise downtime, and support operational requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and operational support to resolve dewatering challenges and improve system performance.
  • Lead and supervise the Dewatering Leading Hand, dewatering personnel, and contractors, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard.
  • Monitor dewatering performance, budgets, critical spares, and contractor activities, implementing improvements where required.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory, safety, environmental, and company requirements relating to dewatering operations.
  • Collaborate with Mining, Mine Planning, Geology, Geotechnical, Hydrogeology, Maintenance, and Projects teams to support current operations and future mine development.
  • Drive continuous improvement and provide regular performance reporting, identifying risks, opportunities, and recommendations to support operational objectives.

Key Requirements:
  • At least 3- 5 years of experience with dewatering, submersible, surface pumps or similar understanding mining terminology
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience.
  • S26 Statutory Supervisor qualifications
  • Experienced in an Open-Pit/Cut mining environment
  • National Police Clearance 
  • Current W.A Driver's Licence
