Are you ready to kickstart your career with a modern mining company that values innovation and your unique potential?

We are looking for a Control Room Technician to join our operations team. Whether you are an experienced operator or looking to break into the industry, we want to hear from you. We believe in hiring for attitude and training for skill—if you have the right mindset, we’ll provide the tools to help you succeed.

The Opportunity
In this role, you will be at the heart of our underground operations. You’ll remotely monitor and control high-tech equipment to ensure we meet our daily targets safely and efficiently. You will work in a collaborative environment where your ideas for improvement are genuinely heard and supported.
  • Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off / 7 nights on, 7 nights off (Wednesday to Wednesday)
  • Location: Site Operations Centre
  • Term:  Temp to Permanent

What You’ll Do
  • Monitor & Control: Remotely manage fixed and mobile equipment to optimise underground mining activities.
  • Analyse & Respond: Keep a close eye on system alarms and work with the team to resolve issues quickly.
  • Communicate: Act as a vital link between the field and the control room using radio systems.
  • Safety First: Maintain a duty of care for the whole team, ensuring all work is performed safely.
  • Grow: Participate in ongoing training and multiskilling across different control functions.

What We Are Looking For:
While experience in underground mining or systems like CITECT, SCADA, or Pitram is a plus, it is not mandatory. We are highly encouraging entry-level applicants to apply if they possess:
  • The Right Attitude: A positive, proactive mindset and a willingness to learn.
  • Calm Under Pressure: The ability to make timely decisions in a high-pressure environment.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication via radio and in-person.
  • Team Spirit: A focus on collaboration rather than hierarchy.
  • Tech Savvy: Basic Excel skills and an interest in learning complex control systems.
