We are representing a Tier 1 leader in the Australian mining and construction sector, renowned for delivering some of the nation's most significant resource projects. As their project portfolio expands, they are seeking a diligent and commercially-minded Contracts Advisor to join their high-performing procurement team in Perth.

What You Will Own & Drive
- You will drive the full tender process for key subcontract and supply packages, from preparing and issuing tender documents to evaluating submissions and preparing business cases for award.
- You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements (subcontract, supply, consultancy), ensuring alignment with company standards and legal requirements.
- As the key commercial point of contact, you will manage active contracts, handling variations, extensions, claims, and dispute resolution to protect project outcomes and control spend.
- You will work closely with Project Managers, finance teams, and department heads, providing expert advice and support to ensure seamless contract execution and administration from award to final close-out.
- You will manage the end-to-end 'procure to pay' process within the company's ERP system (JDE), ensuring all contractual data, payments, and supplier information are accurately maintained.
- You have demonstrable experience in a Contracts Advisor or Administrator role, ideally within the mining, resources, or heavy construction sectors.
- Your experience covers the full contract lifecycle, from tender and award through to administration, negotiation, and close-out.
- You possess strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and mitigate commercial risks.
- You build rapport easily and can confidently liaise with a wide range of internal stakeholders, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- You are proficient with procurement and finance systems. Familiarity with ERP systems like JDE is highly advantageous.
- You are a highly organised professional who can manage multiple contracts and priorities in a dynamic project environment.
- An excellent rate of $60 - $72 per hour + Super is on offer.
- This is a long-term, stable contract role (Monday to Friday) with a genuine opportunity to transition to a permanent position.
