- $38 - $53 p/h depending on experience
- Set up, program, and operate CNC machines (lathes and milling machines)
- Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Conduct machine setups, tool changes, and offsets
- Perform quality checks using measuring instruments (verniers, micrometers, gauges)
- Assist with prototype and one-off machining jobs as well as batch work
- Support urgent breakdown machining jobs when required
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet production deadlines
- Trade qualification (Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist (turning and/or milling)
- Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
- Experience working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Strong knowledge of tooling, feeds, and speeds
- Experience with Okuma
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team
- CNC programming experience
- Experience with prototype or custom machining work
- Exposure to fabrication or welding environments
- Forklift ticket
