Civil Supervisor | Major Resources Projects

The Opportunity
Are you a hands-on Civil Supervisor who excels at driving concrete and earthworks projects on major mine sites? We're looking for an experienced and proactive supervisor to lead construction crews on a series of critical infrastructure upgrades for a Tier 1 mining client in South Australia. You'll take charge of daily site activities, manage your crews to deliver high-quality work, and be a key part of a long-term, expanding project portfolio. If you thrive on a busy FIFO roster and enjoy seeing tangible results from your team's efforts, this is your chance to make a real impact.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise site crews to safely execute a range of civil construction works, including bulk and detailed earthworks, blinding, formwork, reinforcement, and concrete pours.
  • Manage day-to-day site activities, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Coordinate plant, labour, and materials to maintain project schedule and meet critical deadlines.
  • Conduct daily pre-starts, toolbox talks, and safety inspections, championing a strong safety-first culture on site.
  • Liaise directly with the client and other site stakeholders to provide progress updates and ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Complete daily reports, worksheets, and other project documentation.

About You
  • Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor or Leading Hand on mining, resources, or heavy industrial construction projects.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge and a proven track record of delivering projects involving earthworks and complex concrete works (foundations, slabs, precast elements, etc.).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a site-based construction crew.
  • A proactive and results-driven approach, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Reasonable computer proficiency for daily reporting (MS Office, etc.).
  • Relevant trade qualifications and/or industry tickets are highly regarded.

What's on Offer
  • Competitive Hourly Rate: An attractive casual rate of $80 - $95 per hour + Super, negotiable based on your experience.
  • Consistent Roster: A 2 weeks on, 1 week off FIFO roster.
  • FIFO Point of Hire: The primary point of hire is Adelaide. However, FIFO from Perth or the East Coast will be considered for exceptional candidates.
  • Long-Term Project Pipeline: Join a team with a strong and growing portfolio of work, providing excellent job security and the opportunity to work on multiple key projects.
  • Supportive Team Environment: Work with a down-to-earth and experienced project team committed to getting the job done safely and efficiently.
