About the Role
As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for fabrication and welding activities as part of a large-scale defence manufacturing program.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing fabrication and welding in line with production requirements
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Completing MIG and Flux Core welding to required quality standards
- Fabricating and assembling components to specification
- Participating in on-the-job training and skills development
- Working collaboratively within a highly skilled production team
- Following all workplace health, safety and environmental procedures
- A recognised Boilermaker Trade Qualification.
- Experience with MIG and/or Flux Core welding.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A reliable approach to attendance and timekeeping.
