About the Role
You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day cleaning operations, supporting site presentation standards, and coordinating both internal cleaners and subcontractors across the school environment. The role will involve a combination of leadership, reporting, quality control, and hands-on cleaning support where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support daily cleaning operations
- Allocate tasks and ensure quality standards are maintained
- Coordinate cleaners and subcontractors onsite
- Conduct site inspections and maintain presentation standards
- Support safety and hygiene compliance
- Train and mentor team members
- Manage reporting and site supplies
- Assist with cleaning duties when required
- Previous cleaning or facilities supervision experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and lead teams effectively
- A current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
- Physical capability to undertake hands-on work
- A current QLD Working With Children Check (mandatory)
- National Police Check, or ability to obtain one
