Role Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy mining equipment
- Perform fault finding and troubleshooting on electrical systems and components
- Conduct preventative maintenance and breakdown support to minimise downtime
- Work on large-scale mining fleet including Liebherr 9800 excavators, Hitachi EH400AC-3, and MT4400 Bucyrus haul trucks
- Complete inspections, testing, and reporting in line with site and safety requirements
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with site safety standards and procedures
- 2:1 FIFO roster
- Cape Preston – Sino Iron Project (Pilbara, WA)
- $3,000 sign-on bonus
- Additional $3 per hour site allowance on top of base rate
- Trade qualified Auto Electrician
- Proven experience on heavy mining equipment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to pass a medical and drug & alcohol screen
- Willingness to be clean shaven for mask fit requirements (required when working in the pit)
