This is a permanent role on an established open cut coal operation, working across a modern fleet with proper diagnostic support behind you. Not a site where you're handed a multimeter and told to figure it out on your own.

- Ongoing OEM and manufacturer training
- Fault finding and repairs across the mobile fleet, both scheduled and breakdown
- Electrical component changeouts, harness repairs and loom fault tracing
- Working with onboard control systems, fire suppression and auto lube
- Diagnostics using OEM software and test equipment
- Preventative maintenance inspections and defect reporting
- Working to site isolation, tagging and coal industry safety standards
- Trade certificate in Automotive Electrical (AQF Cert III) with an Australian recognised qualification
- Electrical Restricted Licence or equivalent, current
- Experience on heavy mobile mining plant, coal or metalliferous
- Strong diagnostic and fault finding ability
- Coal Board Medical, current or willing to obtain
- Standard 11 Generic Induction, current or willing to obtain
- Current C class driver's licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screen
- CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi or Liebherr experience
- Experience with Ampcontrol, MineStar, Wenco or similar systems
- HV or LV switching tickets
- Working at Heights, Confined Space or EWP tickets
- Field service or dual trade background
