As an All-Rounder Production Operator, you will play an integral role in maintaining safe and efficient production across site. You'll be operating a variety of mining equipment while working closely with supervisors and fellow operators to achieve production targets.
Equipment Experience
Experience on some or all of the following is highly regarded:
- CAT 777, 785, 789 Haul Trucks
- Komatsu haul trucks
- D10 & D11 Dozers
- CAT 16M & 18M Graders
- Excavators – CAT 6060 - Komatsu PC1250 - Liebherr 9400 / 9200 or equivalent
- CAT 992 & 994 Loaders
- Safe and efficient operation of production mining equipment
- Achieving production targets while maintaining site safety standards
- Conducting pre-start inspections and reporting defects
- Identifying hazards and contributing to a safe workplace
- Following site procedures and operational requirements
- Working collaboratively within a production-focused team
- Maintaining equipment in a clean and serviceable condition
- Demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, productivity and teamwork
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Previous open pit production mining experience
- Experience operating multiple production mining machines
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Strong safety mindset and commitment to best practice
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Excellent attitude, reliability and work ethic
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
